passion or obsession ?

Where some folks are passionate about sports, gardening, antique cars, or fine wines, my overriding passion is my music. Over the past thirty years, I’ve learned to play more than a dozen different instruments, and have built a collection of over 70 string, brass, woodwind, keyboard and percussion instruments.

I’m not a virtuoso -- I’m a perpetual student. But I feel I’m more valuable as a utility musician than as a one-trick pony. My Featured Instruments blog gathers and shares what I’ve learned about the instruments I own, play and love. Expect updates the first or second weekend of each month.
